Industry Nights: Directors' Workshop Night

SDGNZ and Industry Nights (run by Actors Lab) present a special Directors' Workshop Night for directors to work with actors on a specific scene and have the scene filmed. This gives directors a space to workshop a chosen scene with experienced actors in a supportive artistic environment.

Time: 6.00pm ? 9.30pm
Cost: Free. Places are limited.

Directors wishing to take part should email their interest to kate.stevenson@sdgnz.co.nz by 16th May with:
- Name and contact details
- The scene you would like to work with (2-3 actors). It can be from an original script or sourced elsewhere.
NOTES:
If you don't have a scene you would specifically like to work with one can be supplied for you by the Industry Nights organisers. Please let us know when you email your interest.
This is open to directors of all levels of experience.

Places are limited. Preference will be given to SDGNZ members.

We hope to make this a regular event in the Industry Nights program each term.

About INDUSTRY NIGHTS:
Now running a year, Industry Nights are becoming an Auckland institution. Top experienced actors have attended these challenging, practical and fun evenings. Attendees are exposed to a variety of approaches with the combined experience of some of our most respected casting directors & tv/ film directors. This workshop is open to all actors of sufficient experience. Most sessions have camera. Past and planned guest directors include: Sima Urale, Jonathan Brough, Geoff Cawthorn, Peter Salmon and Stephen Lovatt; casting Directors: Tina Cleary, Stu Turner and Annabel Lomas. With the co-operation of the Screen Directors Guild of NZ (SDGNZ).
