Beginners Clay in the Day - with Helen Hughes

From selecting clay right through hand building techniques, simple finishes and the firing process this clay course will cover all the basics. For beginners starting from scratch to those wanting to develop their hands on clay practice. Helen will work with you in your own style and direction.

A variety of Clays are available in the Quarry office. Clay varies in price from around $20 to $40 a bag and a bisque firing in the electric kiln is $35 for as much as to you fit in. Students will be able to share this cost between them.
