Auckland Festival of Photography: Paul McNamara
The exhibition and collection of New Zealand photography nationally and internationally
A presentation by Paul McNamara, director of McNamara Gallery, Wanganui, outlining our efforts to expose creative photography to as wide an audience as possible, and to further our aim of promoting lens-based media, and exploring the range of practice.
The role of books and newer technologies in facilitating these aims, as well as other practicalities, will be discussed. What overall image of NZ are we projecting to an international audience via our 'curation' ?
Audience participation will be welcomed so as to further extend and modify these goals.
