CollaboratioNZ 2011

Wanted : 10 adventurous artists, fit and thirsty for a week of skilled collaboration!
 
Collaborationz 2011 will take place at Whangarei Heads,  Northland 19 – 246 March 2011. 

Already 60 international and NZ artists are booked to take part and there are only 10 places left. 
 
It is likely that you know several visual/object artists who would enjoy and be transformed by this experience, alongside and in collaboration with some of the world’s finest crafters of wood, metals, glass, stone, fibre and ceramics.

CollaboratioNZ is a registered charitable trust established in 1998.

It provides a biennial weeklong event with a venue, materials and tools for participating Artists from Northland & throughout New Zealand to work with International Artists in collaboration to create works of art that expand and push their technical knowledge, creative thinking & cultural experiences.

There are no hierarchies or rules in this event.  What occurs is an across the board visual arts/crafts learning platform of high intensity. This has resulted in many new and found techniques now visible through the participating artists’ subsequent art works.

All participants will be able to use the resource equipment and materials available to collaborate with expert national and international resource artists.
