Oxfam's Biggest Coffee Break 2011

Now here is the perfect excuse to get together with your friends or workmates over a delicious Fairtrade cuppa.  Join thousands of Kiwis taking part in Oxfam’s Biggest Coffee Break this Fair Trade Fortnight (May 7-22).  It’s a great opportunity to sample some delicious Fairtrade coffee, find out more about Fairtrade and to help with Oxfam’s work towards a just world without poverty.

It’s easy, just sign up to hold an Oxfam Coffee Break and Oxfam will send you a FREE Coffee Break pack with everything that you’ll need to hold a successful Coffee Break including delicious Caffe L’affare Fairtrade coffee, Kokako Fairtrade drinking chocolate, Whittaker’s Fairtrade chocolate and a bunch of great materials to introduce you and your guests to Fairtrade.  Don’t miss out – registrations close Friday, April 22 and only 1000 packs are available.

The official date for Oxfam's Biggest Coffee Break 2011 is Friday, May 20, but you can hold your event any time during Fairtrade Fortnight. Once you've decided on a date, you then need to decide where you are going to have it. A few of our most popular locations are:

- Workplace - A Coffee Break is the perfect opportunity to liven up the weekly team meeting with some Faitrade goodies, or to enjoy a break with colleagues in the lunchroom.
- At home - Invite friends, family, and neighbours to join your Coffee Break - the more the merrier!
- Community - Why not hold your Coffee Break in your neighbourhood, at your gym, sporting club, book club, coffee group buddies, or yoga centre?
- School - It's time to learn about fairtrade. Whether primary school, high school or university, it's a perfect excuse to eat Fairtrade chocolate bars and drinking chocolate.
