Approaches to Text - Workshop for Teachers

Join Sam Scott, Artistic Director of Massive Company and director of 'Havoc In The Garden' in a workshop for teachers and professional practitioners that will explore approaches to text - using scenes from 'Havoc In The Garden'.

The Workshop will:

• Briefly discuss how Havoc in the Garden was made and developed.
• Briefly discuss the elements used to make the play eg set and costume design, sound and lighting design.
• Explore Massive Company warm ups for actors in preparation for rehearsal, specifically for Havoc In The Garden.
• Look at scenes from Havoc In The Garden and how we approached exploring/rehearsing them.
• Give participants a chance to work on part of the script as either performer or director with set objectives defined.
