Celebrating 40 Years of Friendship

Join the Friends of the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery, past, present and new, in celebrating 40 years of the Friends playing a vital role in supporting the Govett-Brewster’s activities.

This special relationship between the Govett-Brewster and some of its most passionate supporters will be recognised in the Gallery with cake, canapés, champagne and a jazz quartet. We’ll also be sharing stories, photos and memorable moments. A highlight will be the re-screening of Monica’s Gift, a visual projection and sound installation by artist Tim Gruchy for the Gallery’s 40th birthday party last year.

While the event is exclusive to Friends of the Gallery, new Friends are welcome – simply buy your ticket to the event for $30 and your membership will also be covered for a year.

So come along to meet or reconnect with the Friends of the Govett Brewster Art Gallery and celebrate its 40th year.

 RSVP to gbagfriends@gmail.com is essential.
