Among the Big Stuff - with Richard Parker

Richard Parker, large ceramic vessels

The Quarry wood fire kiln is going to be fired in July – it is now time to create clay works with no size
restrictions as the wood kiln has masses of room.

In this workshop students will learn techniques needed to build large scale clay forms. Friday evening will be dedicated to planning your project while Saturday and Sunday will be hands on creating under the
direction of renown ceramic artist and tutor Richard Parker.

Students are all encouraged to come to the wood firing and learn how the wood fire kiln works. Please note that some works may not be finished in one weekend however students are welcome to return to finish pieces at their leisure.
