Raewyn Alexander: “I Guess I Just don’t Know”

Alexander has taken such workshops for over 15 years with many successes. Her first

workshop (Sat 28 May) includes performance techniques, Noise Noise Noise, where

apparent disorder, randomness and chaotic elements are used to excite inspiration. The

next workshop (Sat 4 June), Writing with Fire, is about accessing emotions safely, how

to control and order thinking, create what we want by using language. Alexander will

teach relaxation techniques and refine voices, people may also create poetry on the

day. At the end of each workshop Alexander will also offer advice on publishing and any

difficulties you have with your own writing.

Both workshops are six hours long, 10am – 4pm, tea, coffee and juice provided, bring your

own lunch (one hour for lunch), they will be in the gallery and you need paper, pens and

enthusiasm.
