Proudly sponsored by Walker and Hall in association with Kennedy Point Vineyard and the Waiheke Community Art Gallery we are happy to announce that the application forms for the 2011 Walker & Hall Waiheke Art Award are now available to download as a pdf. This National Award has a $5000 Premiere award attached to it and this years selector is Henry Symonds, Dean of Instruction and Undergraduate studies, Whitecliffe College. Closing date for entry is Friday 29th July. Further information and key dates are available on the application form or contact the gallery.

Waiheke Community Art GalleryThe gallery is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting the visual arts and crafts in new Zealand, alongside the distinct cultural activities of Waiheke Island. We have a very active programme of exhibitions (36 in the year 2008) as well as educational and cultural activities. Admission to the gallery is free. We're open 7 days a week 10am - 4pm.
