The Wonderful World of Textiles

A comprehensive short course in textile application. We live with fabrics everyday from our beds to what we wear.  There are a lot of choices but are we choosing the right fabric for the right purpose? How do you make it work? This course takes you on a journey through time and around the world looking at the history of textiles, its qualities and where they should be used.  Taught by industry professionals, you will learn to have confidence in choosing fabrics that practical but also fabrics with the WOW factor!

Nanette Cameron School of Interior Design, at Te Tuhi Centre for the Arts, 13 Reeves Rd, Pakuranga.

    Te Tuhi Centre for the Arts is a community, cultural and arts centre situated in Pakuranga, Manukau City.
    We are a public art gallery with a continuous exhibition programme in seven exhibition spaces. The gallery spaces have a strong reputation in Aotearoa New Zealand for primarily exhibiting the work of contemporary New Zealand artists.
