Festival Italiano

The Dante Alighieri Italian Society of Auckland is organizing its Annual Italian Festival, we are a registered charity and the Festival is a fundraiser for the Italian school for children (open to all children in Auckland, regardless of their ethnic background). This is the only large and free Italian Festival in the city, and the biggest gathering of Italians in Auckland for the year, and it is entirely run by volunteers. The Italian embassy will also open a consular office for the day at the Festival for the Auckland residents.

Free entry, live Italian bands and music, Italian food and drinks, the largest Italian market in NZ, games and entertainment for all the family.

The Italian Festival will be held on ?Sunday 9 October 2011, ?11am-4pm, at the ?Freemans Bay Primary School grounds, ?95 Wellington St, ?Freemans Bay, ?Auckland. This is a free event presented by Kiwi/Italian actor Paolo Rotondo, with live Italian bands and music, Italian food and drinks, games and entertainment for all the family, and the largest Italian market in NZ.The Festival is a fundraiser for the Italian school for children organized by the Dante Alighieri Society of Auckland.
