Is Marketing Dead? Marketing has become a dirty word in the arts sector because of its inability to see audiences as little more than a homogenous blob of consumers. We need to stop aggressively selling and start inspiring audiences to buy and the only way to do that is to try and understand as much about our current, lapsed and potential audiences as we can.
