Following the success of 2010's Workshop Day, Artists Alliance will hold another full day of professional development workshops for artists.
This is the perfect opportunity to make an investment in your professional practice.
The workshop will consist of four sessions.
- Russell Toplis | Tax & Art.... It's not as scary as you think!
Russell Toplis is a partner at PKF Ross Melville Chartered Accountants. He is well known for his arts friendly approach to tax matters.
- Sara Hughes | An Artist's Perspective
A presentation by renowned artist Sara Hughes on how she approaches her practice, with an emphasis on her installation works and the residencies she has undertaken.
- Panel Discussion | What is Success?
A panel discussion with an artist, a dealer, an arts writer and an arts educator. Workshop attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions for the panel.
- Time to mingle - aka good wine & our famous catering!
Feedback from last years event, showed that networking was a valuable part of the workshop, with many new connections formed.
