Rob Hamill guest @ Brother Number One screening
An exciting update. Rob Hamill, star of film Brother Number One, will be in attendance at the special WIFT screening of Annie Goldson's documentary along with Annie herself. Described as "Deeply moving" by Variety Magazine, "Exquisitely restrained" by Peter Calder of The New Zealand Herald and "Intelligent, nuanced" by David Larsen of The NZ Listener, Brother Number One follows Rob's attempt to gain justice for his brother who was brutally murdered by the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia in 1978.
If you missed the film during its run at the NZIFF, now is your opportunity to see it on the big screen at the North Shore's Bridgeway on September 19 @ 6pm. Tickets are just $10 for WIFT NZ members and $15 for non-members. Please join us at 6pm for a drink before the screening at 6.30pm. After the screening there will be a Q & A with Annie Goldson and Rob Hamill. Bookings essential through www.wiftnz.org.nz although tickets can also be purchased on the night, at the door.
More information on the film is at brothernumberone.co.nz.
