Gone West

GONE WEST BOOKS is located in the heart of the Titirangi village, Waitakere City (20mins west of central Auckland), gateway to the stunning Waitakere Ranges and the many sublime West Coast and Nth West Manukau Harbour beaches.

It is a tiny shop, a mere 27sq metres, with about 3000 titles in stock at any one time.

Most GONE WEST BOOKS business is internet based at ABEBOOKS.

Opening onto a sunny court yard where customers can order a coffee and enjoy browsing through a huge selection of wonderful books, GONE WEST BOOKS also serves the local community and the shop is open six days a week - (Monday is our day off…).

We’re hidden away adjacent to a little court yard next to the Village Kebab (great Coffee and Turkish Delight), behind the Fairy Flower Shop (nice Flowers and Nick-nackery), opposite the famous Hardware Café (Al Fresco side walk dining and coffee where Murray may often be found on a sunny summers day shooting the breeze with some of the local characters and usual suspects).
