Magdalena Aotearoa Trust

Magdalena Aotearoa Trust is a national network for women in the
performing arts, and is affiliated to the international network The
Magdalena Project.

Our office and trustees are based in Wellington, but we have members
all over Aotearoa. We publish a newsletter three times a year.

In 1999, we hosted an International Festival of Women in Contemporary
Performance, and in 2002 we have been represented at Magdalena
Pacifica, a festival of women and theatre in Cali and Bogota, Colombia.
Magdalena Aotearoa is part of the Magdalena Project, an international
network of women in contemporary performance.
Since 1986, the Magdalena Project has hosted festivals and workshops
around the world, and there are branches and members all over the world
who are working to support and promote the work
