PSNZ/Ray Barlin Award - Under 25 Photographic Competition
The Photographic Society of New Zealand is proud to launch the seventh national competition for youth photographers aged under 25 at entry closing date. This competition attracted many high quality images last year from around the country.
The PSNZ/Ray Barlin Award is a national photographic competition targeted to youth aged 25 years and below. This competition is run through the kind donation from Ray Barlin, a London based photographer to encourage the development of young New Zealand photographers - students, recreational photographers or professionals.
To encourage young photographers to enter, there is no entry fee and entries are accepted as unmatted printed with a maximum size of 20x30cm. No digital submission is allowed.
Rules:-
- Previous winners are not eligible to compete again.
- Enter up to 3 unmatted prints, max size 20x30cm.
- Open Category – Colour or Monochrome images
- Entrant’s details must be complete. Name, both postal and email addresses, phone numbers and date of birth must be CLEARLY written on the reverse side of each print.
- Entry implies permission to reproduce winning entry without fee and for purposes of competition promotions with photographer retaining copyright.
- All entries will be judged by Fellows of the Photographic Society of New Zealand.
- Prints will only be returned if postage and appropriate self addressed envelope is included with entry.
- Winners will be notified by email/mail and announced in The Photographer’s Mail and
D-Photo.

1st Prize - $250 Book Voucher, 2nd Prize - $150 Book Voucher, 3rd Prize - $100 Book Voucher
