ART + OBJECT - Crown Lynn Roadshow & Symposium

Crown Lynn Ceramics, part of every New Zealand household,  were made in New Lynn, where the Portage Ceramics Trust now holds a collection of 6000 objects relating to Crown Lynn Ceramics and its production.

The Portage Ceramics Trust with “ART + OBJECT the 21st Century Auction House” presents the  “Crown Lynn Roadshow + Symposium” a fundraiser  for the Trust to help ensure the unique collection stays together in the area where it originated. The Trust intend that the collection will be displayed and exhibited as widely as possible in future years for the pleasure of all.

A great afternoon has been organised where you can bring your own Crown Lynn treasures and have them valued, hear about the market and the  history of Crown Lynn, from James Parkinson and a panel of experts from Going, Going Gone, Auction House  and NEWSTALK ZB.

The Roadshow offers a unique opportunity to find out more about those much loved Crown Lynn pieces you have had in the cupboard for years, and hear abour their past.

Entry cost is $10 which gives you free valuations of two items and light refreshments, extra items will be valued for $5 per item.
