Developing Tank 'Spring 09' Exhibition, Matakana

The Developing Tank, a photographic collective from the Matakana area, is having its inaugural exhibition at A Fine Line Gallery, Sharp Rd, Matakana, from Saturday 10 October to Sunday 1 November. The opening preview is from 5-7 pm on Friday 9 October.

Exhibitors will be: Carli Clark, Richard Collins, Barbara Cope, Di Halstead, Sue Hill, Marshall Lefferts, Caroline McSharry, Richard Smallfield, Karen Williamson and Charlie Wrigglesworth.

The Developing Tank was started in 2008 and meets once a month to discuss the conceptual and artistic side of photography. Members range in background from art and academic to commercial and the different viewpoints lead to challenging discussions.

There will be a diverse range of work shown in the exhibition ranging from back roads, montages, animated mannequins and portraits to photogravure works.
