New Zealand Art Guild South Island Exhibition
South Island members of the New Zealand Art Guild will be exhibiting at Gallery O, upstairs at the Arts Centre, Worcester Boulevard, in Christchurch in September again this year for its second year running.
Seventeen well known and emerging artists from all over the South Island will be combining their collective talents to produce a dynamic exhibition.
Rachael Inch, coordinator for the show says that this year, “the focus for the artists was not only to share their work with the world, but also to provide more affordable pieces for the general public. Art should be enjoyed by all, and that’s what this talented group of artists want to provide”.
In addition to the outstanding larger pieces, there is also a special section in the exhibition where smaller works will be available for purchase; all priced under $100.
"Perception; an Artists View of the World Around Them" will be showing from Tuesday September 15th to end of Monday 21st September at Gallery O in the Arts Centre
