Gerry and the Crocodettes comprise four delightful characters - Gerry, Pat, Frincess and Herman – appealing to children aged 2 – 10 years old.
A synopsis of their story is as follows:-
Gerry was born on the planet Croco into a family of many spacecraft captains. Ever since she was a little Crocodette Gerry wanted to fly spaceships and explore the Universe. There have been many planets that Gerry and Pat have worked on together. In fact they had worked together on Planet Earth many years ago. Gerry was very happy to be sent back to Earth and is really enjoying her time here.
Frincess is the only child of the King and Queen of Croco Galaxy. When she grows up she will be the queen herself one day. When Frincess heard that the King and Queen were sending Gerry to Earth, she hid on the spaceship because she really wanted to go and there was no way she would ever get permission. Frincess has known Pat and Gerry for a long time and so she knows how safe she is in their company. Her experience on planet Earth so far has been enjoyable and at 10 years old, she’s learning new things all the time.
Herman is a Yeti and was born on Earth in a place called Tibet. Herman’s hometown is located four miles underground with many cave openings to his town. One day Herman was walking the Earth above ground, when right before his eyes something came out of the sky. It was a Spacecraft, and when the door opened, there stood a big yellow alligator who simply said “Hello there yeti, my name is Pat”. They became the very best of friends from that moment on.
Pat, the 900 year old Galactic Alligator, was born on the planet Alleega. He is a space explorer and famous for his good work in Croco Galaxy.Pat found Earth many years ago and always remembered this planet to be beautiful. He especially loves the bright blue skies and the lovely rivers. He plays a musical instrument called a banjo and since he has known Herman he has learned to play other instruments as well. So if you happen to come across a big yellow alligator lazing in a hammock by a riverbank, chances are, it’s Pat the Galactic Alligator from Croco Galaxy.
On the North Island tour Gerry and the Crocodettes will be joined by the Star Fairies.
The Star Fairies live among the stars and listen to all children's wishes. They work very hard at trying to make wishes come true but only if they are good for the child. The Star Fairies live throughout the Universe. Star Fairy Venus is called so because her star is closest to the planet Venus. Star Fairy Saturn's closest planet is Saturn hence she is named accordingly. They sing a lovely song called Make A Wish and they have voice-over roles in the show as well.
