Glen Eden Village Footpath Sign Competition

The Glen Eden Business Association is inviting budding artists to use their imagination to create artistic footpath signs approximately the size of "Sandwich Boards" to decorate the streets in the business district of Glen Eden.

“We are looking for innovative works of art, themed to local businesses to be displayed outside those premises during the month of March 2010,” says Glen Eden Business Association Chair, Ian Burkett.  “There are certain parameters and rules to follow, but these should not inhibit imaginative thinking”.

A notable personality will judge entries during the promotion.  The winner of the Art Sign Award will receive $1000 Cash.

There will also be the "Shoppers Favorite" award, the winner voted by the public. This is a unique event that we hope will attract a high standard of entries.
