The Twitch go Digital
The Twitch go digital and take it to the people.
Dirty rock trio The Twitch are a week away from their third tour for 2010.
“The Tattoo Tour” – The band will have a tattooist on the road with them and you can see the band “ink’d” at every show. With the tattooist on board practicing their art on the road, the plan is to get video footage at each of the shows and capture the live performances, tattoo artwork, the road trips and present it in a music video.
The Twitch have drawn up a plan and budget on a website called ‘indiegogo’ in their first effort to get their fans involved to help them make the video.
It’s not the first time that underground NZ music has been fan-funded online but The Twitch will be the first rock band in NZ’s history to do it on the “indiegogo” platform.
The project has been online for 11 days already and so far the band has raised $540 USD out of the $4000 Goal. There are incentives for people to get involved in the form of digital downloads, full length albums and posters sent to your door among others. There is a deadline, a total of 60 days for the project.
Please help the band by following the link and checking out the details.
