Simon Peter breezed into the online scene last year like a friendly tornado with his Centaurian computer game, he snatched ‘Best Cult Contender’ at the 2010 48Hour film awards with ‘The Legend of Simon Pederson and the story of Wogboth’ and recently scooped an Official Honouree at the 15th Webby Awards in the ‘Weird’ category for his site www.iamsimonpeter.co.nz.

Now he brings us his latest masterpiece ‘Wolvesblade’ a savagely humorous 7-part web series about lust, revenge and awesomeness - rammed to the hilt with satirically marinated New Zealand culture and music by Wellington’s Full F***ing Moon and Hans Milan.

For the uninitiated, ‘Simon Peter’ is played by Auckland based actor Jeremy Randerson (Home By Christmas, The Almighty Johnsons) and written and directed by Rhys Morgan and Liam Bachler.

Since Rhys Morgan created ‘Simon Peter’ in 2009, the team behind him have released a slew of crazed internet content including Simon Peter’s Yoga for Everybody, Tapuface, Iwi Kireme and Jonny Matenga.

Wolvesblade is a masterless wolf slash samurai who wakes up dazed and wounded in a magical forest. His only friend is a laptop. He must battle evil henchmen, his own emotions and the ruler of the magical forest Lord Bad Cun* in order to get his ear and his girlfriend ‘Shewolf’ back.
