CleverBastards for Chch Art & Design Auction
In response to the tragic earthquake in Christchurch CleverBastards is launching an online art and design auction later this week, called CleverBastards For Christchurch.
We're delighted with the response from all in our community with over $30,000 worth of pieces donated so far.
Established artists from beyond the CleverBastards stable, like Michael Smithers, have also contributed works.
The online auction will run for three weeks and if the works continue to roll in, the period could be extended. Art, predominantly in the form of art prints and object art [ceramics], as well as contemporary design pieces of furniture, hand printed bed linen, home objects like fruit bowls and coat hooks as well as highly unique designer jewellery, will be on offer.
And what binds this event together is that all the works are by New Zealand artists and designers, donated in the cause of helping our fellow Kiwis in Christchurch. Please support us by joining in the bidding and spreading the word to all you know.
