Creativity pours flows in and around most of the time wherever I am and whatever I am doing. It however begins to move into reality when I specifically focus on the needs and possibilities, often with a pencil and pad in bed, mapping it out in a chaotic way. Refinement comes with time and rest and re-engagement - in layers. Realisation is always a matter of convincing others of the vision, their belief usually comes after the manifestation of the idea. Drives me fucking nuts!!

Driving by scenic or peaceful places - my grandchildren discussing something that happened during their school week like nature walks or a marathon run and talking about things they have seen - being able to quickly get to easel, paints  and brushes is critical at this point and if not on the way to my studio then it's "What was that again Moko" whne we gt home

Tends to happen when I stop thinking about everything and zone out. That's when creative ideas smack me in the face! =)

Creativity come to me when I least expect it, when I sit in a train, listen to music, relax, work, do something fun, laugh, after weeks of creative block, and when I don't have the needed to transform my creative idea into reality.. a camera, time, money.. etc. But at least I carry a little notebook and a pen so I can write it down and, fingers crossed, come back to it later! : )
