Funding for the arts

The Council provides nearly 3 million dollars annual funding as part of the Annual Plan in order to meet identified needs within the Wellington City community. In addition to grants funded by rates, some funds from other sources (such as bequests) are also administered by the Council.
Each fund has specific criteria.
