RSS Feeds
What are RSS feeds?
RSS [Rich Site Summary] is a way of being notified about regularly changing web content. It means you can easily stay informed by getting the latest content from sites you regularly visit. The Big Idea syndicates much of its content and you can add our RSS feeds to your Feed Reader.
If you have never used RSS before, the first thing to do is to get an RSS Feed reader e.g. your web browser. Here’s a great article that talks about RSS readers and also options about setting them up http://reviews.cnet.com/4520-10088_7-5143460-1.html. It’s like your new cellphone or DVD, once you’ve got it set-up you seldom need to worry about it again [until you buy a new computer!]
How do I select an RSS feed on The Big Idea?
The Big Idea makes available as an RSS feed for each section of the site e.g. NEWS > Industry News. Simply select the RSS icon
displayed in that section (usually at the head of the page). The Feed will be automatically added to your default RSS Feed Reader. Every time relevant new content is added to The Big Idea your RSS Feed Reader will be automatically updated.
