Media Practice paper @ Massey's Wellington Campus

Massey University offers its popular Media Practice paper (154.204) on the Wellington Campus.

The objective of Media Practice is to provide students with a set of applied skills in electronic media production, enabling them to produce their own moving images in the form of short films, television commercials and news stories.

In the paper, production is not seen as an end in itself, but as a tool through which students learn the process of constructing meaning while becoming more active readers of media texts. In this way, it is designed to complement and reinforce concepts explored in other Media papers.
