2010 NZSA Mentor Programme
The 2010 NZSA Mentor Programme is now open.
Mentorships run over a one-year period, for a maximum of 20 hours, and allow a writer to work closely with an experienced author or editor. We have compiled a register of mentors which includes some of New Zealand’s most experienced writers, editors and creative writing tutors. The programme offers an opportunity to discuss ideas and problems, practical and editorial advice, and benefit from the experience of published writers.
There are 19 full mentorships available in the 2010 programme, as well as two half-mentorships of 10 hours each. These are available for work - such as picture book texts or poetry - that is deemed not to require a full mentorship.
Applications close 31 March 2010. For information and an application form please email office@nzauthors.org.nz or visit www.authors.org.nz
