The Survive & Thrive Expo
The Survive & Thrive 2010 Expo is an important opportunity for creative people to engage with enabling organisations such as yours that are the motivators and backbone of Auckland's creative sector infrastructure.
Expo space at the venue is limited to 40 tables and to secure a table, please complete the attached Registration form.

Survive & Thrive 2010 is a significant networking event in the creative sector for entrepreneurial artists, producers & organisations working in the Auckland region. The Expo, starting at 10.30am, will provide promotion and networking opportunities for all participants.
With Ray Avery [New Zealander of the Year] as the keynote speaker as well as a rotating programme of eight workshops and speed-networking [the business version of speed dating], the day will be inspiring, insightful and information packed.
Based on the success of Survive & Thrive last year, we anticipate that 200 - 300 entrepreneurial artists, producers & organisations will attend this unique event representing the diversity of the creative sector including
moving image, music, visual arts, object arts, fashion design, performance, digital media . . .

Please note that Expo space at our venue, the University of Auckland Business School, is limited to 40 displays [costing $100+GST each if you register before 1 July 2010]. Trestle tables and cloth covers will be provided and there is access to power and wireless internet (which is all included in the registration fee).

Survive and Thrive 2010 is an initiative of the Arts Regional Trust Te Taumata Toi-a-iwi (ART) in partnership with The Big Idea, significantly supported by ASB Community Trust and Auckland City Council.

The Arts Regional Trust : Te Taumata Toi-a-Iwi
ART is an arts and creative industries development agency and a leading investor in growing entrepreneurship in Auckland’s creative sector. The City Councils of Auckland and Manukau created the Arts Regional Trust Te Taumata Toi-a–iwi (ART) in 2000 to manage and grow their combined share of funds provided through the disestablishment of Auckland Regional Services Trust.
To date, ART has invested in a number of significant projects in partnership with other organisations such as the city councils of the Auckland region, universities and government agencies.
