2nd Foshan Education Expo
The Second Foshan Education Expo kicked off on May 15th and, remarkably, had over 60,000 attendees on the first day.
Sponsored by the Foshan Education Expo Committee and with direction from the Foshan Education Bureau and the Foshan Economic and Trade Bureau, this session was organized by 1506 Creative City Investment Company Limited, the largest developer and operator for creative industry parks in China, in cooperation with the Foshan Daily newspaper and launched in 1506 Creative City. Foshan Education Expo is the first education expo event hosted by a prefecture-level city in China.
A theme of “Moving towards Balance, Moving towards Distinction, Moving towards the World" is expressed in five major areas of the event, including distinctive education, education services, educational technology & facilities, international education, and higher education. In addition, 1506 Creative City will prepare many other activities such as the first "Tianlun 1506" National College Debate Contest finals, the first Hubble-Bubble Festival, “Dream-building & Shanghai Expo” series art activities, National Creative Market Alliance Forum, the first Headmaster International Forum and more.
This session has convened over 200 schools and educational services from home and abroad including Foshan, Guangzhou, Zhejiang Province, Hong Kong and Australia, anticipating 100,000 attendees during the three-day exhibition. It is the beginning of comprehensive reform in Foshan education, a new opportunity for mutual educational development in Guangzhou, Foshan and Zhaoqing. And above all, it will become a new platform for domestic and international education exchanges and cooperation.
