DOC Lab 2011
in association with CoLab

CoLab is proud to have been associated and supported the Doc Lab 2011,an incubator for cross-media documentary projects, which was held at Auckland University of Technology (AUT), last weekend.

Eleven teams attended the 3-day Lab led by Wendy Levy of BAVC  (The Producer’s Institute, USA).
The mentors were:
    * Alexandre O Philippe, USA
    * James Franklin, NZ/UK
    * Jennifer Wilson, AUS
    * Daniel Cremak-Sassenrath (CoLab expert in Gaming and new media), NZ >
               and
    * Laurent Antonczak (CoLab - MoTec), NZ >

Together, they introduced, discussed, developed and worked on diverse cross platforms with the selected teams.

This was a significant opportunity for teams who recognize the urgency in developing new prototypes for content creation and delivery so as to fully maximize the potential of their projects as well as to compete internationally. CoLab is proud of the standards and interest of the final project's presentation which came out of 2011's Doc Lab.
