My Toolbox

The Toolbox gives you the tools to help you participate in The Big Idea. It is your personal and private area of the site where you can submit and manage the content you have put on to The Big Idea.

Build A Profile details how to promote yourself to The Big Idea community.
Submit Content details the content types you can add to The Big Idea.
Maintain Content details how to edit and/or delete content you have submitted to The Big Idea.
My Comments allows you to view the comments you have submitted to The Big Idea.
My Bookmarks allows you to view content you have bookmarked.
Google Search provides a site wide word search.

 

Search (Tag Categories) allows you to find all content (irrespective of content type) that share the same category tag e.g. find all content tagged with the Creative Discipline "Theatre" or all content tagged with the Region "Wellington".

Search (Tag Filter) allows you to find content by combining the key filters Content Type, Creative Disciplines, Regions, Rohe or Iwi and Key Word.

My Profile allows you to edit your Profile & User Account information.

See User Account tab to maintain your key user information such as:

  • Tag Categories - maintain your Creative Discipline, Region and Key Word tags
  • username
  • password
  • email address (for the Navigator Bulletin and site contact form)
  • user picture (avatar)
  • signature for comments and personal contact form details

See About... tab to maintain public member details such as:

  • membership type
  • realname (the name or organisation name by which you would like to be known to The Big Idea community)
  • name or organisation name
  • contact information
  • your A bit about me and Big Idea statements

See Newsletters tab to subscribe or unsubscribe to the weekly The Big Idea Navigator Bulletin email.

See Contact Details tab to maintain public contact details such as email, instant messaging details and phone numbers.

See Private Details tab to provide The Big Idea with your personal details. This information is not made public however it does enable us to understand more about who is using The Big Idea so we can provide the best possible service to you.
