As part of the New Zealand Music month, Yaw Boateng is running a 'drum talk workshop' in Whangarei to share the beautiful rhythms and movements from West Africa (Ghana).

Students will investigate the historical context of art and design, and acquire the creative skills, techniques and processes required in order to produce quality work in selected mediums.

A hands on introduction to visual art making materials and processes, together with a contextual overview of art design, to produce a portfolio for arts related career goals or further study.

In this online writing course, students will compose a publishable piece of writing in the language of their choice (English or Te Reo Mäori) and in a genre of their choice.

Provides students with the skills, techniques and critical understanding over several genres to apply to the composition of original texts.

Integrate the skills and understanding of one genre into a major work of original composition.
