Parallel Dance Ensemble wins Golden Jandal (+video)
With a video that featured loads of colour, plenty of lips and lots of lollies, Parallel Dance Ensemble won the Golden Jandal for best video, as voted by the audience at the Radio Active 89FM Handle the Jandal DIY Music Video Awards.
The awards were held on October 29 at Wellington's Embassy Theatre and featured the naming of six technical category winners among 15 finalists that were shown on the big screen – a rarity for music videos in New Zealand.
