Art@Nisbet Road , Harvest Exhibition and Workshops this Easter.
Art@Nisbet Road : Neighbouring artists Jane Whiting , painter, and Janet Hyde, potter and sculptor are "opening" their studios for the four days over Easter for visitors to view their work and/or participate in short 2 hr workshops they are running twice a day over Easter.
Morning session 11.00am - 1.00pm afternoon session 2.00pm - 4.00pm -
Jane is offering drawing and painting workshops on Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Janet is offering clay work for fun : Make your own decorated Easter egg, Make your own handbuilt cup, Decorate and glaze a bowl or a mug and A quick introduction to wheel work. Easter Friday , Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Each 2 hr session is a stand alone course and costs $40.
Their studios are on Nisbet Road , Maungatapere, 17 kms from Whangarei. A beautiful farmland location and a perfect place for an artist to retreat to over easter, up on Whatatiri mountain!
