Beside the deckchair
So it's summer and time to take it easy. Here at The Big Idea, we're looking forward to some time in the deckchair with some cherries and a bottle of Invercargill Boysenbeery and revelling in what creative New Zealanders have to offer.
Beside the deckchair we’ll have the New Zealand Reserve Bank Annual 2010 by David Haywood, Fiona Farrell’s Limestone and The 10pm Question by Kate de Goldi.
Our coffee table book is Back and Beyond: New Zealand Painting for the Young and Curious by Gregory O’Brien.
And on the stereo, we’ll be listening to Stroke – Songs for Chris Knox and Merry Christmas Baby for Plunket.
If there’s time for TV, on the box or on demand, we’ll be watching The Gravy.
After some serious relaxing during the day, it could continue with Dean Spanley and The World's Fastest Indian.
