Nelson Arts Festival: Klustre 09

Building on the success of last year’s show, Klustre is back for its annual exhibition as part of the Nelson Arts Festival. 

Based on the Trade and Enterprise scheme of the same name, Klustre was started nine years ago as a way to bring Nelson’s jewellers together for group shows and the sharing of knowledge. Last year a dedicated group of members old and new came together to breath new life into the group. This resulted in a very successful show.

Teaming up with Marian Wolfs, manager of Reflections Art Gallery at the WOW museum, Klustre has found a permanent home for the annual show.  The show features new works from Nelson’s contemporary jewellery community as well as paintings from two guest artists.

The showcase of new work runs from October 15th to November 16th at Reflections Art Gallery located within the WOW Museum in Nelson. A preview will be held on October 14th from 5:30-7:30 and is open to the public.

Throughout the show, tickets will be on sale for a chance to win the charm bracelet used in the advertising photos.   All proceeds will be donated to SPCA Nelson.
