Migrant Workers' Images "Build" the Urban Landscape
On April 25, hundreds of construction workers' images were posted as layers of a building, forming a unique landscape called "Building Dreams".
This event was proposed and directed by Qiu Dailun, the chairman of 1506 Creative City, and the first large-scale interactive architectural migrant-worker-based landscape art.
Organized by Foshan General Union, this event took place in Jiuding Worldwide Complex and 1506 Creative City.
Hu Xiaoyan, deputy to the National People's Congress, one of millions of migrant workers, said "We need the respect we deserve when more and more skyscrapers arise in the city."
