Medically accurate movie crawls back into cinemas

The most talked about film of the 2010 New Zealand International Film Festival returns for a limited season starting this Thursday September 2nd.

The Human Centipede : First Sequence has an undeniably creepy premise that is based on claims of 100% medically proven science. The outlandish film takes the standard mad doctor scenario and injects it with 100cc of insanity by having unwilling patients forced into becoming the worlds first fully functioning human centipede.

The bizarre film has struck a chord with millions around the globe with people designing cash-ins like plushy cat dolls , costume party outfits, rap songs , and even tattoos.

A sequel has been rushed into production to satisfy all the fans who want to see where the next sequence will go.

Ant Timpson who is helping release the title on behalf of Monster Pictures told TV3 News..

"I don't know what it says about the state of the world we live in today but for some strange reason people worldwide are truly fascinated by the idea of a fully functioning human centipede. It's a true phenomenon. Everybody wants a piece or wants to be a piece of The Human Centipede"

The film opens Sept 2nd in limited release.
