Trace works at the local fish 'n' chip shop and her husband Rex is the incumbent running for mayor. Megan appears an unlikely friend to the mayor's wife, but her and Trace bond over their love for Mills & Boon. And then there's Phoebe, the teenager who just wants to get her rocks off before she's the last virgin standing.

We explore the difference in our public personas versus the private: what a mayoral candidate and his wife will hide and what they will reveal - whether they mean to or not. We delve into the difference between fantasy and reality, and the cycles (sometimes vicious, sometimes comfortable) that people find themselves trapped in.
