LAND AND SEA online exhibition - 2011

I would like to invite you to visit my new exhibition LAND AND SEA now showing online using GalleryCentric. Land and Sea celebrates the ever-changing beauty of my natural surroundings. I love working in precious metals and gemstones to create tactile and colourful, wearable works of art, which reference the organic shapes and colours I find in nature. The pieces in this exhibition were destined to be on show in ConneXion Gallery, the beautiful new space we designed after we relocated at the Arts centre in Christchurch. Unfortunately due to the earthquake that hit our city on February 22nd and after being open for only two and a half weeks - it is now still closed. It was a hard blow to lose two galleries in five months. I'm still passionate about creating unique, contemporary jewellery and will be on the look out for another exciting opportunity to showcase my creations. I would like to thank exhibbit for their generosity in allowing me to create LAND AND SEA. GalleryCentric is an interactive 3d environment. It allows you to easily see the detail of my works in a gallery space. There is a small UNITY 3D player that is easier than Flash to install. Once installed my exhibition will automatically load and play. It is all very seamless and quick. This is the way of the future and an experience that I hope you'll really enjoy.
