Maori? And wanna be on TV?

Aunty Moves In is an exciting new series for Maori Television which aims to help Maori families overcome real life difficulties with expert guidance from our Aunties Ella Henry and Amiria Reriti.

Whatever your family issues are Aunty Moves In is all about finding new pathways forward in an ever-increasingly difficult world. The Aunties are not there to criticise or humiliate, they are there to support and inform, providing answers to some of those age-old problems that confront us all. We aim to take a closer look at the issues which may concern your family unit such as truancy, bullying, health, exercise, anger management, disabilities, literacy, convictions, alcohol, smoking or drug management.

Our aim is to make our viewers reflect on their own lives and provide ideas for change by helping you - our families. We will make you look great on camera and present you in the best possible light as we are not there to criticise but to help - never fear our Aunties are here! Providing advice and strategies for transforming your home environment and situation our Aunties will provide a start to problem-solving from easy to follow tips to achievable strategies to make the big changes.
