A bit about

I am a passionate dance teacher who has extensive knowledge from 10 years of Performance to share with my students. I love the challenge that teaching offers me. After teaching for 6 years, I have the belief that I can ‘bring the best out in every student’ and love to watch their confidence and social skills grow while working with them.

DANCE AND DRAMA TUTOR - THE PERFORMANCE.NET - AUCKLAND - 2008 - CURRENTLY EMPLOYED

My role with The Performance Net is extremely varied. I travel across Auckland to various venues and work with students aged 4yrs - 18yrs in after school venues. We work towards an end of year showcase. I teach Drama, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Musical Theatre. Currently I also contract work at Kings College, St Kents, Point View Primary and Sommerville Intermediate.

CHOREOGRAPHER - INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY - WAIHEKE ISLAND - AUGUST 2009
I was recently involved in bringing over a youth group to perform at the International Youth Day. They had various other items such as Fashions shows, Kapa Haka groups and performances by Charlie B and Billy Fluid. The worked with a group to provide a dance and drama piece which embraced youth and the issues they deal with today.

CHOREOGRAPHER - PERFORMING ARTS WORKSHOP - SADD - UPPER NORTH ISLAND - JUNE 2009
Working with students form all over the upper North Island as well as Hamilton and Bay of Plenty. I was booked to provide the students with some Hip Hop dance in the evening as an extra to their workshop. I put together a dance and drama devised piece which incorporates drink driving and its effects. Students were aged between 15yrs and 18yrs.

Dancer and Choreographer - Mizdemeanor Entertainment 2006-2007
I started up an entertainments company providing Dancers, Djs, Reps and Promotional Staff for Nightclubs, openings, sampling and tournaments.

Choreographer - NUIG 2006-2007
I worked with university students teaching advanced Hip Hop working towards performances at the end of each semester as well as the inter-varsities competition.

Dancer and Choreographer - International Kickboxing Tournament 2007
I choreographed and performed for the halftime and opening entertainment. I also provided ring girls though my company.

Choreographer and Teacher - Pi 2006-2007
Teaching private dance classes and aiding in audition pieces and up coming performance pieces for my students. Also Choreographing the weekly dance shows.

Choreographer and Teacher - Backstage Performing Arts 2005-2007
Teaching nationwide in Ireland, age groups between 8ys-18yrs. choreographing end of year shows utilizing Hip Hop, Street, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Rock and Broadway styles.

Choreographer and Teacher -Urban Heat Summer School 2006
Nationwide summer camps running for one week working towards the filming of a video clip by the end of the week. Styles included Street and Hip Hop.

Dancer and Choreographer - Club Q/Radisson SAS 2005-2006
Dancer and choreographer over a team of 12 dancers. Events included Marko V, Judge Jules and Mario Picotto.
