Artstation is Auckland City Council's visual arts centre based in Ponsonby. Housed in the former Ponsonby Police Barracks, there are studios, a gallery, a darkroom, a print studio and cast glass (sculpture) studio. There is a large programme of art classes for adults and children running in term time and in the school holidays. Artstation staff are involved in community arts projects and the facilities are available for hire. The gallery runs a programme of exhibtions which represent the wider Auckland community. Proposals can be sent to Artstation throughout the year, call if you would like the exhibtion criteria sent to you.
