I am a qualified business professional and entrepreneur with a successful track record of 30+years’ experience in various roles and industries including general management, sales and marketing.
Experience includes owning a business, leading and managing teams, setting direction and strategy, setting sales and marketing strategy, sustainability, key account management, budget setting, public relations and change management.
I have a very strong understanding of Digital Marketing and I.C.T having established a leading start-up ISP in Ireland in 1995 and owning a specialised web development business there for five years providing services to Bank of Ireland, IRFU and Irish Real Estate Institute.
My current passion is Digital Marketing, Social Networks and Mobile Marketing and their value application in SME’s.In my spare time I love acting ... mostly in AMATEUR Theatre... no one has ever offered to pay me! I read ... my wife works for a global publishing house so my book shelves groan under the weight of its editors' choices.
We have five children so I keep busy with their lives as well as keeping a fit and healthy as I can...
My most enjoyable memory of my career to date was when as a "promoter" I toured NZ with the cream of Irish music ... Christy Moore, Mary Black and more....(google them!)
My most challenging job was re-branding a portable toilet company as a clean green and environmentally friendly operat
