A bit about

Director and producer, member of Women in Film and Television New Zealand, Camelia won the 2008 Hamilton film festival with the short film, “Can You Hear Me” aimed to inspire the viewer by the deep emotional engines that move people towards achieving excellence, in spite of their mental illness.

She started her career as a graphic artist, working as a contractor for television and branding and marketing companies. Later she studied Psychology and from there, followed the steps into the deep forest of knowledge in human behaviour.

She believes in the power of genuine messages and she seeks to integrate these in video productions. Nowadays at Tuatara Pictures she is working with a leading edge team to build one of the most successful production models in the visual media industry.

In Camelia’s words, “What comes from the heart goes to the heart. It's so crucially important because what moves people to take action of any kind always involves human emotion. In my work I make sure that the entire ambiance where the video is taken is the message carrier and it gives the video the power to create in viewers what was intended.”

The focus of “Tuatara Pictures” is to promote, preserve and communicate the individuality of your brand, and the heart of your company’s message to both current and future customers. Tuatara Pictures uses video footage to create media productions which can be placed on website, on “video sharing websites” such as Vimeo, YouTube, as well as video-centric social network sites such as Facebook to support your sales and marketing efforts.
