Name: Coralie Winn
A bit about: I am passionate about making creative projects happen. I am a strong facilitator and people person. I have managed a public gallery and helped to evitalise the Artist in Residence programme at the Arts Centre in Christchurch prior to its cancellation post earthquake. I am a member of the Free Theatre Christchurch ensemble and have performed and toured regularly over the last 4 years. I am one of the creators of Gap Filler- an initiative which places temporary creative projects on gaps created by the earthquake (or otherwise) in ChCh city. www.gapfiller.org.nz
Big Idea: Gap Filler. We want to help bring energy and vitality to the central city by creatively activating gaps created by the recent earthquakes. Creative projects include - live performance, music, film, gardens, games and art installations amongst other ideas. There are a lot of people in ChCh passionate about bringing life back into the city, reeling at the impact of the quakes on the city and the Arts. It is also a time for ChCh to be progressive and open-minded and re-think its approaches towards space, the city and the value of temporary uses of space.
